I was born in a strong Hindu family. I heard the Gospel at the age of nineteen through an underground pastor in 1984. The same pastor gave me a Gospel booklet named “Heart of Man”. In that book, there was a tract of sinful man, after I read the booklet I learned about Jesus the savior of the world. Until then I did not have any idea what salvation meant to me. In the book, I saw the way of how to escape from the bondage of sin. I realized I myself was a sinful man and I decided to receive eternal life in Christ Jesus. I also apprehended afterward that Jesus is the only way, truth, and life. He is the only way to Father. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and took baptism in 1984. After knowing Jesus as Lord I faced many trials and persecutions.”

My family rejected me and my father pushed me out of the house because I had left all the Hindu traditional ways of worshiping idols and had quit following the rituals of our ancestry. Eventually, I had to leave home at some point. At the same time, police took me into their custody and warned me not to preach the gospel anymore saying, ” If I find you doing so again you be imprisoned longer than this and punished severely”. I had passed High school at that time. I was reading from the book of ISAIAH: 41:8-10, while I was reading the bible from that chapter, God spoke to me. He said, “You are my servant and I have chosen you, I will not refuse you, so don’t be afraid, be bold and strong. I am with you.” He also added” Do not be discouraged because I am your God. I will make you strong and be your present help in times of difficulty. I will hold you with my righteousness and place you near my right hand. So I shall always bring rescue for you.” This then I came to learn that God’s calling in my life is to serve him through church planting and evangelism. Then, I started preaching and reaching to unsaved ones near our neighborhood with the Gospel of salvation in Christ Jesus.

After knowing about God’s calling in my life, I decided to join New Life Bible College, in Katmandu, for two years. There I had to prepare myself with Lord’s blessing and anointing for the ministries that God gave me to do. After completing my 2 years course, I was requested to work as a warden in the same Bible College in 1988. When I was working as a warden, the Lord spoke to me about planting churches in different parts of Nepal. With a humble heart, I followed the calling of the Lord. In reality, I had nothing when I took the first step to pioneering the Church in Bharatpur, a town which is about 100 km away from Katmandu the capital city. In 1990, we pioneered a Church in Bharatpur, Chitwan. At that time, many trials and persecution came in my life, life was not easy because I had obeyed the Lord’s calling and kept preaching the Good News among the Hindus and pagans. People beat me. But I did not stop preaching the gospel. My wife, along with other believers, and I fully gave ourselves to the Lord in prayers for His divine intervention in that area for it was a life-threatening moment for us from the enemy. I along with my wife continued praying. All of a sudden they answered our prayers and trials and persecutions were lessening however we were warned not to speak about Jesus and his gospel among the neighbors. Whatever the circumstances were we kept preaching and winning souls in Christ the Lord of the church. Then we experienced the church growth. Thus, Lord gave me a chance to study abroad at Kingdom faith Bible College, England. I admitted there in 1993 and after studying for one year at Kingdom faith Bible College I returned to my home country Nepal in 1994 and engaged continually in the Lord’s work. In this way Lord has placed me as frontline leadership in the Ministries Now, I have been leading more than 65 churches under the overseeing of the Grace Church Ministries of Nepal.
